With summer just around the corner, WPN. (pronounced Weapon) today announced the launch of their very first Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to enable global expansion of their in-demand active wear range exclusively for men.
Touting themselves as the Lorna Jane for men, the WPN team have already gained the backing of elite sportsmen including Ultimate Fighting Championship hall of famer Pat Miletich and sports model and fitness blogger Anthony Thomas.
They are addressing a gap in the market and have reinvented men’s boring and uncomfortable sportswear. Creating a collection that combines sophisticated designs with technical innovation to produce high quality, fashion forward active wear.
WPN Wear is made for the modern day man juggling his busy, healthy and active lifestyle. Whether that be the 6am 10 kilometre runner, gym junkie, beach yoga lover, morning bike riding coffee drinker, their target market are probably not the types to be doing ‘absolutely nothing in their active wear’*.
With over 13 years experience in the industry, WPN co-founders Daniel Jones and Darren Nankivell have combined their love for design, fashion and sport to bring forward their debut label with a passion for building a brand for men like themselves.
“We noticed that in today’s market, women’s active wear has endless variety, whilst options for men are seriously lacking” one half of the dynamic duo, Jones said.
“We couldn’t find any brand exclusively for men that focus on quality, performance and style that you’d be confident to wear anywhere. A brand of Athleisure”.
